TOP RAIL

The Top Rail is the standard display option for ClimaCabs, and unless a different option is chosen it will be utilized. Our innovative approach to hanging instruments includes a hardwood rail mounted to the ceiling and hardwood blocks with opposing angles which attach to pivotable String Swing hangers. At the end of the rail, a removeable block allows for adding/removing hangers.

String Swing hangers are considered the industry standard and often found in guitar shops worldwide. They feature a long curved neck capable of storing instruments with longer headstocks, a thumb screw behind the yoke to pivoting the hanger 180 degrees and lock into any position, and a deeper yoke cradle that assists with uneven heels or protrusions on the headstock found on guitars such as Fenders, Ibanez, and Jacksons.

The rubber coating on the String Swing hangers is compatible with guitar finish and will not mar the surface of the neck. Multiple studies have been completed regarding all finish types and String Swing stands behind their product in terms of safety for the instrument finish. PROHANG

The ProHang display option is the Top Rail with the addition of 100% hardwood slat wall on the back of the ClimaCab.

We start with hardwood that is precision cut, planed, and sanded to 5/8" thick. On the underside of each slat, the edge profile is cut along the length. This profile is the proper width and thickness to accept the tongue on the upperside of the String Swing slat wall hanger.

Because the profile is cut along the entire length, this allows for use of the String Swing slat wall hangers anwhere along the back wall. The most commonly used spots for the String Swing hangers are found within the upper third of the back of the ClimaCab; however, if longer instruments such as bass guitars are going to be stored, moving up or down is quick and simple. In addition, smaller instruments such as mandolins, violins, ukuleles, and smaller parlor guitars can easily be stored at various locations and with different configurations within the ClimaCab.

The addition of slat wall also changes the aesthetic properties by accenting the primary wood species. Commonly we combine a darker exterior with a lighter slat wall. Aromatic cedar is another popular choice to impart wonderful aroma into the ClimaCab.

The cost of the ProHang display option depends on the size of the ClimaCab and the wood species used. All pricing is shown on the product listing for the individual ClimaCab size and by referencing our display option pricing table by clicking the button below.

NECK & BOUT REST

The Neck & Bout Rest display option rests the instruments on cork lined lower rails and cradles the necks in cork lined rests. Versatile options to store various width instruments, from jumbo sized acoustics to narrow body electrics, and the ability to add or remove neck wedges as your collection changes make this a popular option.

Our innovative use of neodymium magnets allows for maximum versatility, by making the bout rails and the neck rests movable. The bout rails move in/out of the ClimaCab on tracks, providing a solid foundation for the lower bout of the instrument. Our cross supports span the gap between the bout rails and are used in pairs. They magnetically attract to a metal bar routed into wood surface of the bout rail (underneath the cork surface). When used in pairs, front facing an instrument across the entire cabinet is simple and quick.

The pricing Neck and Bout Rest display option depends on the size of the ClimaCab and the wood species used. All pricing is shown on the product listing for the individual ClimaCab size and by referencing our display option pricing table by clicking the button below.

TANDEM

The Tandem display option combines the Top Rail and Neck & Bout Rest giving you the ability to use them individually or simultaneously across the entire width of the ClimaCab.

When using an option individually, the other option's components can be removed. The Top Rail hangers remove from the rail by accessing a removeable block at the end of the right side of the front rail. Thi sblock is removable using a provided allen wrench. Once the hangers are removed, the rail becomes virtually unnoticeable. The Neck & Bout Rest removable components consist of the bout rails and neck rests. Since we utilize magnets to secure them to the various permanently mounted fixtures, which are the tracks and neck rest rail respectively, the removal is quick and simple.

When used in tandem, the Top Rail hangers can either be used to front face instruments to create a front layer across the entire width or they can be utilized at an angle in one section of the ClimaCab, such as the left or right side. In similar fashion, the Neck & Bout Rest option can be utilized in a number of different ways.

TOTAL

The Total display option combines the ProHang and Neck & Bout Rest into one cabinet yielding maximum options and aesthetic properties.

When implementing this option, the slat wall can be any type of wood species from our vast wood catalog. During the installation process of the slat wall, we will replace one piece of slat wall with the neck rest rail. This piece will be made of the same wood and will blend in flawlessly.

When utilizing this display option, the individual display options can be utilized or they can be used in some combination.
