Acoustic Remedy can create the lower section exactly to your needs or build a standard expanded lower section. These standard expanded lower section dimensions are based off tried and true designs to fit musicians needs.
Standard Expanded Options
- Hardshell Case Size: most hardshell cases require approximately 20" of head space inside the lower section to accommodate the lower bout. In order to eliminate extremely tight fit scenarios, we expand this to around 23" which is 6" larger than our standard lower section. This means the overall height of the ClimaCab ends up at approximately 78".
- Dovetailed Drawers: the standard option is two doors in the lower section that open from the middle outward to reveal the storage compartment. By putting dovetailed drawers above the storage compartment, additional space to store common items used by musicians is achieved. These dovetailed drawers can be made any size desired; however, for practicality and overall look of the ClimaCab we recommend the drawers to be no less than 4" and no more than 8" in height.
