The robust hardwood box which consumes the center top of the lower section stores the reservoir and power strip which provides power for the Acoustic Remedy Humidity Control System and for the upper section LED lighting.

We construct the hardwood box from the same wood as the ClimaCab, making it ultra-strong and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. It also provides some structural support for the lower section once it is attached to the underside of the floor of the upper section and the front/back wall of the lower section. If the ClimaCab is disassembled for shipment, the box remains inside the lower section and is easily re-attached with several pocket screws.

On either side of the hardwood box, there is an open storage compartment. In a standard size lower section, the opening between the face framing is 13". Once beyond the face framing, the available pace is 17".

This amount of storage is sufficient for a variety of items including books, music accessories, spare hangers or neck rests, and more.

For solid color cabinets, such as the popular piano black, we will spray the interior; however, with stained cabinets we leave it unstained. The entire interior will be lacquered for proper surface protection.

We include two task lights on the ceiling of the lower section and which have 3 settings - Off, On, and Motion Sensing. USB rechargeable 30 LED bead LED under cabinet lighting is housed in a robust aluminum alloy construction that is sleek and acts as a passive heat sink, protecting and prolonging the lifespan of your LED.

A light guide panel transmits light sideways for a non-ghosting, non-flickering light, with a brightness of up to 200 Lumens. A built-in 1500mAh battery recharges with a USB C port, requires no batteries, and has an extended 80000-hour lifespan. Recharge in just 3 hours with a 1A adapter (not included) and the included USB C cable.

We use Blum brand soft close hinges that are fully adjustable to properly align the doors up/down. The hinges are full overlay, with an opening angle of 110 degrees. Opening to this amount means removing or adding items to the storage compartment is easy and the door remains out of the way. When ready to close, the doors will close softly and effortlessly no matter how hard you slam them or how heavy they are.

Hinges are mounted to the wood surface with a screws, providing exceptional strength. Adjustment of the hinges is completed with a Phillips head screw driver and is accomplished quickly and easily.

All door(s) feature panel construction and are built from 100% hardwood. The panels are required to keep the doors from cracking, twisting, or warping and they yield a door that is built to last for many, many years.

All ClimaCabs Petite+ and larger require two doors on the lower section. With non-customized lower sections which have two doors, we install a center divider for the doors to close onto. When pull out trays or drawers are installed, it may require removing the divider.

For the lower section, we install smaller pulls that match the longer upper section pulls. Typically these pulls are around 5 1/2" long, compared to 8 1/4" for the upper section. The pulls are expertly centered on the frame of the door as well as vertically. All pulls are removed prior to shipping and must be re-installed upon receipt.

The option to forego the use of pulls on the lower section and use the coved finger pull is available. In addition, customers can provide custom hardware that we will install for a $50 fee.
