Acoustic Remedy Dehumidifier

The AR Dehumidifier is designed to integrate seamlessly with your AR Sentinel humidity control system. To address high humidity levels, the AR Dehumidifier utilizes silica gel desiccant beads to absorb excess moisture and our high-airflow fan to circulate the air throughout the ClimaCab.

The powder-coated stainless steel reservoir is the same as the one used in the humidification system, except that the wick holder has been removed. The desiccant beads are added to the reservoir, and they include moisture-indicating colored beads that change from orange to dark green when fully saturated. Once they have absorbed moisture, the weight of the beads increases by approximately 35%.

To recharge the beads, place the entire reservoir in the oven at 300°F for 120 to 150 minutes. For safety, do not touch the beads until they have fully cooled, which takes about one hour. During the recharging process, stir the beads using a metal or wooden utensil, and be sure to use appropriate heat gloves or pads when removing the reservoir from the oven.

The AR Sentinel humidity control system requires some configuration changes, which are detailed in the ClimaCab Owner's Manual. We can provide this manual once we verify that you are a customer and determine the year your ClimaCab was manufactured. Please note that this system is only compatible with ClimaCabs made in 2022 and later. To protect our proprietary systems, we do not sell our humidity control systems separately from the ClimaCab.
