Featuring a 6-inch height, the Ultra Low Profile keeps the overall height just over five feet tall. A square cut-out in the floor supports the shallow humidifier reservoir and provides concealed storage for the power supply and wiring

Our Low Profile lower section is 10 1/2” height, which is enough to use our standard full-depth humidifier reservoir stored inside a robust hardwood box, accessible via a lift-off slotted cover plate.  With this lower section, the overall height becomes approximately 5’ 6” tall.

The standard 17” height, combined with the upper section at 55”, yields a six foot tall ClimaCab.  This height allows for adequate storage using the Acoustic Remedy recommended solutions for the lower section.

Expanding the lower section typically involves some level of customization, such as enhanced storage in drawers, pull-out trays or shelves, and amplifier storage.  We work 1:1 with you to design and provide the custom solutions required.

Our 1/8" double-strength glass is perfect for the ClimaCab's large doors and side glass windows. It provides exceptional strength, clarity, and durability to complement the other fine features of the ClimaCab.

While this glass is sufficient for many, it does not considered a safety glass and it will not filter UV rays.

Our 1/8" laminated UV Blocking/Safety Glass blocks 99.9% of UV rays through an invisible layer that also enhances safety features. It is highly break-resistant and provides additional theft protection, especially when used in conjunction with our lock.

This glass is popular not only among collectors of prestigious and valuable vintage instruments, which are particularly sensitive to UV exposure, but also among parents and grandparents with small children.

The anti-glare coating applied to the standard UV Blocking/Safety Glass is the top-tier glass we offer for ClimaCabs. The anti-glare component does not impact the clarity and provides an additional feature that may be desirable for certain situations.

This glass is custom ordered, cut to size at the supplier's location, and shipped to us. We do not stock this glass in bulk like we do for the other glass types, therefore we allow for a four to six weeks lead time.

Domestic hardwoods are deciduous trees that grow in North America and are known for their durability, natural beauty, and sustainability.   Examples we use are Walnut, Red Oak, White Oak, Birch, Maple, Flame Maple, Knotty Alder, and American Cherry.

Exotic hardwoods are species of wood that come from tropical regions outside of North America and are generally harder and denser than domestic hardwoods.  We love our exotic hardwoods as much as anyone and have built humidors from Koa, Cocobolo, African Mahogany, Sapele, Zebrawood, Brazilian Cherry, and Tigerwood.

Reclaimed lumber is wood that has been salvaged from old buildings, factories, or other structures and repurposed for new uses. It's often described as having a weathered appearance, rich patina, and distinctive character.  We’ve used woods such as Red Barnwood, Grey Barnwood, Old Globe 300+ Year Old Eastern White Pine, 100+ Year Old Black Walnut, and more.

With 60+ stains available, you can enhance the wood grain, blend the ClimaCab with your room’s colors, and add beauty and protection to the surface. Since different woods show stains uniquely, we recommend using sample swatches to find the perfect combination.

We provide a range of paint colors, with Piano Black, white, and grey as the most popular. We can match paints from major brands like Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. Some woods may have texture, while others stay smooth after painting.

This innovative system features robust components, precise sensors, and app-based controls. It can provide both humidification and dehumidification in one system, ensuring optimal humidity for your instruments regardless of your location. On average, the system requires refill or recharge once every four to six months.

A sealed upper section creates a micro-climate inside the ClimaCab for optimal instrument care. This important aspect means that rapid fluctuations in humidity are minimized and the system needs to operate less often.

This is achieved with a neoprene gasket that seals the humidor door(s), utilizing its cellular structure to effectively lock in air and moisture. The gasket is compressed and secured with neodymium magnets or spring-loaded draw latches.

Amish woodworking techniques utilize exceptional joinery and incredibly strong carpenters glue to properly secure pieces together. In addition, other sealants are expertly applied prior to the back and glass being inserted, enhancing the overall seal. Lastly, a catalyzed lacquer varnish effectively seals the wood's pores, ensuring minimal air exchange.

All ClimaCabs features fully dimmable, remote controlled LED strip lighting housed in V-shaped brushed aluminum channel, pointing the 3000k warm light at a 45 degree angle towards the interior of the ClimaCab and illuminating the instruments perfectly.

Dependable, industry-standard 3528 SMD LEDs. These types of LEDs are able to emit lumens of approximately 100 lumens per foot of LED light strip while remaining cool to the touch.

As a standard, we use 3,000K warm white correlated color temperature LED light strip housed in a 45-degree angled, brushed aluminum channel with a diffuser cap.

With the touch of the buttons on the keypad, the brightness of the LED light strip can be controlled up/down from 0%-100%.

Our locking mechanism ensures excellent security with a three-part system. A turnbuckle latch uses two hardwood blocks that rotate 90 degrees to secure the left door frame. An exterior keyed cam lock allows for easy locking and unlocking with a simple 90-degree turn.

We can install your own hardware in our shop. We recommend 8-9” handles for the upper section and 5-6” for the lower. For designs with storage enhancements, longer handles may be needed for balance.

The ClimaCab's interior width defines its instrument capacity. Choosing the right size depends on your available space and the number of instruments you need to store. All sizes we offer were thoughtfully created, with custom sizes available in our ClimaCab Custom Shop.

Acoustic guitars require more space than electrics. Smaller instruments, such as ukuleles and mandolins, fit perfectly on the slat wall or in modified neck rests.

Bass guitars, banjos, dulcimers, and more also fit beautifully in our ClimaCabs.

Adjusting the angle of display is quick and simple with our innovative designs and components.

The standard sized ClimaCabs are 22" deep. This is a typical depth for furniture that is placed against a wall and it offers a balanced, room-friendly design.

This depth also provides adequate interior space to place instruments into the ClimaCab perpendicular to the glass with no risk of bumping into the glass or back wall.

The low-depth ClimaCabs are 13 inches deep, which is perfect for spaces that require low profile projections off the wall. They share similarities with standard-depth ClimaCabs, but are distinct enough to belong to their own category.
