ClimaCab Light Diffuser Strip Retrofit Kit

The ClimaCab Light Diffuser Strip became standard on all ClimaCabs towards the end of 2020.  Prior to this improvement, the LED Powered Light Strip in the ClimaCabs was installed just behind the gasket strip which meant that from certain angles the light could be very bright and it also left a slightly beaded effect on the instruments.  With the new development of the diffuser strip, we recognized that several previous customers may want to retrofit their ClimaCab. 

The ClimaCab Light Diffuser Strip Retrofit Kit is a wood strip approximately 1" wide x 1/8" thick that matches and installs over the wood strip which holds the gasket.  This installation process is very simple and accomplished with common tools.  In addition to the wooden strips, we also include a handy countersink drill bit and a set of screws.
