Factory Second — Cedar. Cosmetically these are indistinguishable from our first-quality cases. They're here for one reason: overall height runs ⅛″ under spec — a variance we caught in our own shop, measuring against our own drawings. It has no effect on fit, function or the seal, and it isn't something you'd notice in use.

Natural knots and small voids in the cedar have been filled as part of normal finishing. Same ClimaControl Technology™, same hermetic seal, same protection as any ClimaCase. We'd rather disclose an eighth of an inch and discount the case than quietly ship it as first quality.
